7th Grade Girls
For the 7th year in a row the 7th grade girls were crowned the District Champions. The girls rose to the occasion and took home the 1st place plaque with a score of 36 points at the 27-AAAA District Meet. The team was led by Shalyn Gutierrez and her 1st place finish with a time of 13:55. Running along with Shaylin was Neelah Martinez who placed 2nd in 14:08. Shanna Hime placed 4th in a time of 14:31. Priscilla Ramirez would follow with a 12th place finish and a time of 15:50. Siveah Garcia placed 17th in a time of 17:28, Olga Huizar placed 20th in 18:19, and Oxchitl Hernandez placed 21st with a time of 18:35. Great job ladies.
If you see any of these of these young ladies be sure to congratulate them on a terrific season.
7th Grade Boys
The 7th Boys competed in the District Cross Country Meet on Monday. Micah Klein was crowned the District Champ with a 1st place finish with a time of 12:41. Justin Villarreal placed 5th with his best time of the year – 14:22 and Isaiah Cruz also ran his best time of the year in 15:54 for a 12th place finish. Great job gentlemen.

8th Grade Girls
The 8th Girls Cross Country team placed 4 runners in the top 10 and finished in 2nd place at the District Meet. They placed 2nd with a score of 40 – only 2 points behind Navarro. Leading the way for the girls was Sarah Scharmann with a 4th place finish in the time of 13:59. Farah Standley placed 7th with a time of 14:14, Jauslyn Ramirez placed 8th in 14:19, Lillian Krause placed 9th in 14:22.. The remaining Lady Eagles were;

8th Grade Boys
For the 2nd year in a row the 8th boys are crowned the 27-AAAA District Champs. All 5 Eagle runners placed in the top 10. Top runner for the Eagles was Frank Douglas with his 3rd place finish in a time of 12:37. Next was Joseph Cuellar with a 5th place finish in the time of 12:39. Zeke Garcia would be on the medal stand with his 6th place finish in 13:06. Following Zeke would be Neal Ramos with a time of 13:24 and a 9th place finish. Mason Little would be the last Eagle to cross the finish line in a time of 13:59 and a 10th place finish.
