Yesterday the 7th grade girls soccer team took on Somerset JH for the final game of the season. The Lady Eagles started with the ball & were able to move up the field giving opportunities for shots on goal by Melinda Randolph and Megan Mays. Late in the first half, Mays crossed the ball in front of the goal where Skylee Nelson was able to get the ball in the net. During the second half, the Lady Eagles continued to play good defense and were able to keep Somerset from scoring, including multiple saves by Alexis Robles and Vivian Hernandez. Megan and Mackenzie Richter put together a passing combination that led to a shot on goal that was saved by the Bulldog goalie. Exellent teamwork was given by all. Final score was 1-0.
Your Lady Eagles end the season with a record of 5-0. Please come watch them in the Big 17 Tournament on Friday, 7pm at SW Legacy HS.
