The 7th grade track girls did a great job competing at the Norman Borth Relays in Jourdanton on Thursday night. Here are just a few highlights of the evening.

Riley Clyatt: 100m dash-1st place in her heat, Pole Vault- Tied for 4th
Brylee Miller: 100m dash- 1st in her heat, Pole Vault- 2nd place
Angel Tucker: 200m dash- 1st in her heat, Discus- 2nd place, High Jump-2nd place
Sadie Mcada: 200m dash- 4th in her heat, 400m dash- 1st in her heat, High Jump-1st in her heat
Elizabeth Kemp: 200m dash- 1st in her heat, Pole Vault- Tied for 4th
Raylin Castillo: 1600m Run- 2nd place,
Karolina Arguijo: 1800m Run- 1st place
Hannah Zamora: 400m dash- 1st place in her heat
Mary Martinez: 1800m Run- 4th place
Trinity Garcia: 400m dash- 3rd in her heat, 800m run- 1st place, Long Jump- 4th place
Miranda Silva: 800m run- 2nd place, 300m Hurdles- 1st place in her heat
Michaela Anguiano: 300m Hurdles- 2nd Place
Victoria Urbanzyck: Discus- 1st place, High Jump- 3rd Place,
Riley Porter: Discus- 3rd place, Shot Put- 4th place

The 7th grade relay teams did an excellent job competing! Here are the results of the relays.
4x400m Relay: 3rd Place (Mary Martinez, Karolina Arguijo, Trinity Garcia, Brylee Miller)
4x200m Relay: 1st Place (Paige David, Riley Clyatt, Elizabeth Kemp, Brylee Miller)
4x100m Relay: 2nd Place (Paige David, Mary Martinez, Angel Tucker, Karolina Arguijo)

We are very proud of how hard the track team is working and the progress they have made so far! We are definitely looking forward to our next track meet in Devine, Thursday March 22. Come out and support us!
