The Girls JV Track team took 7th out of 12 teams on Saturday, February 29, at the Navarro Panther Relays.
In the field events – Sofia Aguilar was the lone scorer for the Eagles as she placed in both the discus (5th / 68′-6 1/2″ and in the shot put (4th / 26′-4″).
Emalee David would bring home the Gold Medal with a first place finish in the 100 M Hurdles (18.71). The 4 X 100 relay team of Phoenix Eddins, Jade Talamantez, and Mikayla Theis placed 4th with a time of 58.58. Mikayla would also place in the 100 M Dash (6th/13.74).Jayla Salazar would run a time of 30.78 in the 200 M Dash to place 2nd. Chloe Brooks found points in the 400 M Dash(6th place) and in the 800 M Run (4th place). Raylin Castillo would medal in the 1600 M Run with a second place finish and a time of 6:37.90.Angelina Gonzales would help with scoring with a 5th place finish in the 3200 M Run (14:42. 57).
The JV Girls will also be at Jourdanton on Friday, March 6th.
